Coming off a second-place finish in the American Le Mans Series’ 2007 LMP1 championship, Autocon Motorsports is embarking on what should turn out to be its biggest season in the American Le Mans Series. The team moved to a Judd-powered Creation prototype prior to last year’s Utah Grand Prix, and the move paid off with its second consecutive class podium finish at Lime Rock Park and an automatic berth into the 2008 24 Hours of Le Mans. The team plans to compete for the majority of the 12-race schedule with its Creation- Judd package on Dunlop tires. Series veterans Michael Lewis, Chris McMurry and Bryan Willman once again will share primary duties with the trio counting more than 100 American Le Mans Series starts between them with six victories and more than 40 podium finishes. They also will be occasionally joined by Tony Burgess and Tomy Drissi.
