Enthusiastic fans of the American Le Mans Series can now have active roles at our
events by participating in our new volunteer program. Participants of the American
Le Mans Series volunteer program have the opportunity to be a part of our world-class
events across the country.
With many exciting race venues this season, fans can go behind the scenes at their
favorite track as American Le Mans Series volunteers. While specific tasks will
vary, primary areas for volunteers will include hospitality, promotions, and signage
operations. Volunteers are not required to have any specific skills, but certain
tasks may be suitable for those with applicable abilities.
When completing the required form (below), volunteers can indicate top preferences
and availability. Based on the submitted information, volunteers will be assigned
to one operation area for race weekend. All volunteers must work at least three
two-hour shifts throughout the weekend.
Volunteers will assist American Le Mans Series staff with the following tasks:
Promotions:
- Maintaining Fan Information Center
- Equipment set-up for fan activities throughout race weekend
- Facilitate tours and at-track activities for Salvation Army Grid Kids.
- Execution of pre/post-race activities.
Signage Operations:
Installation, maintenance, and removal of all sponsorship/promotional signage throughout
race weekend. Volunteers in this area must be willing to participate in highly physical
activity, assist in off-site signage operations, and to work early morning and post
race shifts. Reward bonuses will be given to those volunteers participating in this
area.
Hospitality
Maintaining well-run suites by managing access limited to those with proper credentials
and the upkeep of essential supplies.
In appreciation for the efforts of volunteers, the American Le Mans Series offers
rewards for those volunteering their time. For those who complete the minimum requirements,
benefits include:
- Official American Le Mans Series volunteer credential with convenient on-site
parking and paddock access.
(Parking access may vary depending on track)
- One daily meal with beverages and take away snacks.
- Official American Le Mans Series volunteer t-shirt and cap.
